IN MEMORY OF GEOFF ROLLS
Geoff Rolls, Cambridge Matchless Club’s President and well known figure on the trials scene sadly passed away on Thursday 5th January aged 91. Geoff was a keen scramble supporter back in the 50’s and first became interested in trials when in 1963 the Cambridge Club routed the Stonebridge Trial through his farmyard with sections around the duck pond and this continued for over 25 years. This prompted his son David into the sport and Geoff followed his progress travelling all over the country, making many friends in the process. Geoff was a regular observer at South Midland and Eastern Centre events well into his 80’s and was very popular with the riders. He was an ardent supporter of the club and has served as president since 2004. The funeral will take place at Cambridge Crematorium on Wednesday 25th January at 12.45pm.
