Ken Wood Trial Results 2026

We had 31 riders at the Ken Wood Trophy Trial, it was also the fourth round of the Cambridge Matchless Club Championship

The weather was kind to us again being warm and sunny. This led to some very slippery sections on the first lap.

Expert class

1^st – Sam Rolls took the win with 6 marks lost

2^nd – Mark Banham with 57 marks lost

Expert B class

1^st – Nick George took the win with 10 marks lost

Intermediate class

1^st – Jason Sturgeon took the win on 20 marks lost

2^nd – Andrew Dean with 36 marks lost

3^rd  – George Dean with 38 marks lost

Clubman class

1^st – Daniel Lett took the win with 5 marks lost

2^nd – James Johnson with 6 marks lost

3^rd  – Simon Dumbrell with 10 marks lost

Twinshock class

1^st – Peter Cook took the win with 98marks lost

2^nd – Nick Airey with 12 marks lost

3^rd – Julian Mair with 44 marks lost

Novice class

1^st – Stephen Roscamp took the win with 6 marks lost

2^nd – Terry Hannam with 32 marks lost

3^rd – Richard Osborn with 68 marks lost

Steven Brock also finished on 18. So 3^rd and 4^th were decided on most cleans

Sportsman class

1^st – Chris Aylott took the win on 4 marks lost

2^nd – Robin Davis on 6 marks lost

3^rd – Paul Harvey also on 6 marks lost losing out to Robin on most cleans

Youth B (Middle route)

1^st – Eddie Lett took the win on 25 marks lost

1^st – Max Sturgeon took the win on 64 marks lost
